Fun fact: Katy creates all the bows for the wreaths on our listing signs, dressing them up for the holidays!

Now try it yourself:

Materials: Grab your crafty tools—ribbon, pliers, thin wire (like floral wire), tape measure, and scissors. With these, you’ll transform your ribbon collection into a festive decoration.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Craft the Bow: Secure the bow’s center with cut wire. Add a personal touch to the middle for uniqueness.

  2. Align Your Ribbon: Find the center of your ribbon for even placement.

  3. Mark the Center: Use wire underneath the ribbons to mark the center.

  4. Arrange Your Ribbons: Get creative! Arrange the ribbons however you like. Katy used 13 pieces for hers.

  5. Tie Them Together: Use wire to tie the ribbons at the center, creating a cinch at the tail’s center.

  6. Attach to the Wreath: Secure the tail piece and bow to the wreath using more wire. Snip the ends at an angle for a classic look. Fluff and rearrange to your liking.

Voila! You’ve made a homemade holiday bow without spending a dime. Make sure to share your creations with us and spread the festive fun with your friends!
