When one of our own team members began her home-buying journey with her fiancé, their dream was simple but meaningful: find the perfect place to start their life together after their 2026 wedding.
They met with our team to learn about the home-buying process, filled out their “Say Yes to the Address” packet, and connected with Katy to begin exploring the market. As they searched, a new idea started to take shape—building a forever home on family land.
But then, something unexpected happened.
A listing popped up that had charm, potential, and just enough of a spark to shift the plan. She sent it to her dad, who had recently been exploring investment opportunities, and the idea came together quickly. Katy scheduled a showing for the very next morning, and by that evening, an offer was accepted.
What makes it even more special?
The couple will move in after their wedding, living in this home while they build their forever home on the family farm.
