Here’s a sneak peek at what she’s tackling:
Service or Replace Your Water Softener: Ensure your water softener is working efficiently before winter. This can prevent hard water buildup and extend the life of your appliances.
Complete Exterior Home & Landscaping Projects: Take care of any exterior repairs, cleaning, and landscaping projects before the first frost. Whether it’s sealing cracks, cleaning gutters, or trimming back plants, you’ll be glad you did once the snow hits.
Deconstruct and Store Planting Pots: Empty and clean out your planting pots to avoid cracks or damage from freezing temperatures. Store them properly for next season.
Clean & Store Outdoor Furniture Cushions: Give your outdoor cushions a good clean and store them away for the season. Pro tip: use dryer sheets when storing cushions to keep them fresh and free of mildew.
Plant Mums or Sunflowers: Bring a pop of fall color to your porch by planting mums or sunflowers. They’re hearty, vibrant, and perfect for welcoming the new season.
Put Up Cozy Fall Décor: Add warmth to your space by decorating with autumn-inspired touches—think throw blankets, pumpkins, wreaths, and candles to bring that cozy fall vibe indoors.
Prepare Your Favorite Fall Soup: Fall wouldn’t be complete without a comforting, homemade soup. One of our favorite recipes this season is Chicken Leek Stew, which Katy will be sharing soon! Keep an eye out for that recipe in our next post, and get ready to enjoy the perfect fall meal.
For those who want to make sure they don’t miss a thing, we’ve compiled a full Fall Homeowner Checklist to guide you through each step of the process. CLICK HERE to download the full checklist and start getting your home ready for fall today!
