How did the region’s sales prices shake out in 2023…and should you care?
If you look at all of the homes sold in the Milwaukee Region on the metro-MLS in 2023, you’ll find that the median sales price last year was sitting around *$325,000. But if you’re in the market to buy or sell, how helpful is knowing that number? Not very, it turns out!
Real estate is hyper local. In fact, if you narrow your search and only look at the Lake Country area, you’ll find that the median sale price is $739,000…that’s just under half a million higher than the region’s median overall!
But wait…should you be looking even more hyper locally than Lake Country to assess what your own home might go for, or the home you’ve been eyeing in the subdivision down the road? You betcha!
The most meaningful median price to you actually sits within your neighborhood and/or within a 1 mile radius.
